These terms govern your use of footballinstitute.org, the Football Institute learning platform and our programs. By using them you agree to these terms.
Who we are
Football Institute is a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 42-3658301). Our courses, resources and community sessions are provided free of charge as part of our charitable mission.
Using the site and platform
- +You may use our content for personal learning and for teaching within your club, school or organization, with attribution to Football Institute.
- +You may not resell our courses, present them as your own, or use automated tools to copy the site.
- +You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for everything done under your account.
- +We may suspend accounts that abuse other members, breach these terms or put the safety of participants at risk.
Programs and sessions
Play the Game sessions and other in-person activities are run by trained volunteers under our safeguarding policy. Participation is at your own risk; a parent or guardian must register and consent for anyone under 18. We may cancel or reschedule sessions, and we will tell you as early as we can.
Donations
Donations, including those added to a shop order, are voluntary and, unless clearly stated otherwise, are not refundable. Gifts directed to a named fund (for example the License Scholarship Fund) are applied to that fund; if a fund is fully subscribed or closed, we use the gift for the closest charitable purpose. Receipts are issued by email.
Shop
Our online shop sells merchandise printed to order and shipped by our fulfilment partner, Printful. Proceeds support our charitable programs.
- +Prices are shown in US dollars. Shipping is calculated at checkout from your address; any sales tax or import duties due in your country are your responsibility unless the checkout says otherwise.
- +Your order is accepted when payment is confirmed. We then send it to production; you receive an order number and can follow progress on our order tracking page. Production usually takes 2 to 7 business days before shipping.
- +Discount codes must be entered at checkout, apply only to the items they cover, cannot be exchanged for cash and may be withdrawn at any time.
- +Because every item is made to order, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for a change of mind or a wrong size. Please check the size guide before ordering.
- +If an item arrives damaged, misprinted or not what you ordered, email info@footballinstitute.org within 30 days of delivery with a photo and your order number, and we will replace it or refund you at no cost.
- +If a parcel is returned to us because the address was incomplete or it was not collected, we will contact you; reshipping may be charged at cost.
- +We may cancel an order and refund you in full if an item becomes unavailable or a pricing error occurred.
Content and intellectual property
Course material, articles, logos and the Football Institute name are ours or licensed to us. Community contributions remain yours, and by posting them you give us permission to display them on the platform.
No professional advice
Our content is educational. It is not medical, legal or financial advice. Sports science and medical material should be applied under the supervision of a qualified practitioner.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Football Institute is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, platform or programs. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA. If a court finds any part unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
